June is a month of energetic shifts that prepares us for the equinox in July. There are several important astrological configurations. It's the last month of Jupiter transiting through Cancer before entering Leo on June 30th. It's also the last month of the nodes on the Pisces-Virgo axis. Furthermore, June brings us one of the most beneficial alignments of the entire year, one we definitely want to take full advantage of.
Leo represents what we desire in our hearts, and Aquarius represents where the collective is headed. Additionally, Jupiter in Leo can help you discover what you truly want and feel ready to make it a reality. The nodes, at the same time, will remind you that this light exists not only for personal recognition but also to contribute to collective growth.
As June begins, we are still feeling the energy of the Full Moon in Sagittarius that occurred at the end of May. Therefore, the month starts with a sense of expansion, recognition, and growth. It's excellent energy for launches and projects, especially considering that Mercury will go retrograde later on.
On June 1st, Mercury enters Cancer. Mercury represents our way of thinking about our inner universe. It normally remains in each sign for about three weeks, but this time it will stay in Cancer until August 9th due to its upcoming retrograde.
Mercury in Cancer usually brings the past into the present. However, because it will be retrograde in this sign and is linked to both Uranus in Gemini and the South Node in Virgo, this transit seems to be about analyzing each emotion in detail and creating an inner refuge from our vulnerabilities.
During the first weeks of the month, Mercury in Cancer will form squares with Neptune and Saturn in Aries. This reflects a contrast between the familiar and adventure. Cancer seeks security; Aries drives action and innovation. One of the major themes of June will be finding balance between what is and what is changing.
On June 9th, Venus and Jupiter conjunct at 26 degrees Cancer. This is one of the most auspicious configurations of the year. Venus and Jupiter, known as the great benefics of astrology, unite in the sign where Jupiter is exalted.
Although Venus and Jupiter conjunct approximately once a year, this occasion is special. They had already coincided in Cancer the previous year, but on that occasion, the energy was limited by a square with Saturn. Now, the conjunction presents itself with much greater potential.
This conjunction can manifest as unexpected help in romantic commitments, pregnancies, moves, or important family matters.
If you have something new to start, this is one of the best times of the year to do so. Ideally, you should take advantage of this energy before June 12, when Mercury enters its pre-retrograde shadow phase.
On June 13, Venus enters Leo and will remain there until July 9. Venus in Leo invites us to enjoy life, to receive, to feel attractive, and to express ourselves with greater confidence. It is an energy that favors love, creativity, personal beauty, and self-expression.
Between June 15 and 21, Venus forms very favorable aspects with Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn. It is an especially positive week for relationships, creativity, social connections, and presenting projects or talents to the world.
On June 14, the New Moon occurs in Gemini. This New Moon seems quieter and more introspective than others. It is not strongly connected to other planets, so it may feel like a gradual beginning, something that starts discreetly and needs time to develop. It is an energy of observation, adjustment, and preparation.
On June 21, the Sun enters Cancer, and the solstice occurs. This year, the Sun's entry into Cancer has a special characteristic: it forms a sextile with Chiron, which has just entered Taurus. This combination marks an energy that will be present for the next three months. It speaks of stability, security, and self-confidence amidst chaos.
On June 28, Mars enters Gemini and will remain there until August 11. Mars in Gemini is dynamic, curious, communicative, and mentally active. It favors learning and new ideas.
However, this time Mars is approaching a future conjunction with Uranus in Gemini, a combination known for generating unexpected events, sudden changes, and rapid movements. On June 29, two important events occur. Mercury begins its retrograde motion at 26 degrees Cancer, which will extend until July 23, 2027.
This transit inaugurates a new cycle of expansion related to self-expression, joy, and the enjoyment of life. There will be a greater emphasis on authenticity, fun, and reconnecting with what we are passionate about. With Pluto in Aquarius actively participating in this total transformation.
In Gratitude, Grethel
